Breathe into Center

Seeking balance. Breathe to Center. Balanced Zen stones with sunburst.

Looking back, I want to know I have reached out with love whenever there has been a chance. And I have taken in joy when it is close at hand.

I release old stories.

Looking forward, I envision a world where love for all beings is our natural expression, my journey guided by principles of equality, peace, and compassion.

I strive to stay present.

In this moment, I am reminded balance is a constant state of negotiation, continuous, minute adjustments.

I breathe myself to center.

“Breathe myself to center” expresses the practice of using your breath to find a sense of calm and balance within yourself.

It’s like using your breath as a compass, guiding you back to your center, where you feel grounded and at peace.

Imagine yourself caught in the whirlwind of life’s demands and distractions. Your mind is racing, your emotions are swirling, and you feel like you’re being pulled in a dozen different directions. That’s when “breathe myself to center” comes into play.

It’s about taking a moment to pause

Closing your eyes if you like, and simply focusing on your breath. Feel the air entering your nostrils, filling your lungs, and then gently exhaling. With each breath, imagine yourself drawing inward, reconnecting with that calm, steady center within you.

In this practice, your breath becomes a powerful anchor

Grounding you in the present moment and helping you let go of whatever may be pulling you off balance. It’s a way of saying to yourself, “Amidst the chaos, I have this anchor within me, this center of calm and clarity.”

So, the next time you feel yourself getting swept away by stress or overwhelm, remember to “breathe yourself to center:”

Take a few deep breaths,
Find that stillness within,
Let it guide you back to a place of peace and equilibrium.
