My Intention, My Voice

Nov 10, 2007 | Blog

“We each have a voice. As an artist I communicate through my paintings and my sculptures, through my writing and my speaking. I appreciate not only the opportunity, but feel a responsibility to use this voice. I wish to “turn up the volume,” reaching out in all directions, creating images, with paint, clay, words and actions that are born solely for the purpose of nourishing and inspiring the hearts and minds of others; images that serve as doorways to the contemplation of the profound and virtuous qualities of loving kindness, compassion, equanimity and joy. Qualities needed to uplift ourselves and our world. It is my hearts wish that the blessings carried by these images will result in action that will then result in change, change for the better, for each of us as individuals, as a nation, as a world.

I cannot imagine a more worthy goal than a world where loving kindness and compassion, equanimity and joy are the foundation from which we all live.
May it be so.”
